CROSS TALK to get control in the lead over 1500m with CEPHEUS pushing into the box seat. WATERFORD is the one that stands out off a strong run first-up as a gelding over 1300m. He had the tendency to lay in badly last prep though and will need to race more professionally to win this. KIRWAN'S LANE and LIONS ROAR both very good dry track milers if the O'Shea stable has them fit enough. CEPHEUS beat WATERFORD last time he was here so has to be in the mix too.
