A good competitive betting race to finish off the day. Vashka and Commanding Wit dominated their last race, which admittedly was a lower grade BM 75 affair. Vashka worked across and kicked like a 'good one', while Commanding Wit didn't have the best of luck. They ran faster than King Cobia did when just behind Heart Testa in the Open Handicap (just the race before on the day) and both can measure up in this. They take on proven gallopers such as Amovatio and Dream Choice. Amovatio simply had too much acceleration for them last start and he raced well here three starts ago in a tougher event, and Dream Choice drops back from BM 95 level. Other hopes include Abbasso (solid performer), Specific Choice (trialled ok) and Biloxi (if leaders favoured). Trust the up-and-comer, or stick with the proven gallopers?
