XIDAKI sets the benchmark for others to beat in this 1250m maiden. He was very tough first-up over 1200m before getting outsprinted by the winner last start in a rapid dash home. SIDE SHOW is a big threat second-up to 1250m, especially if the track is on the softer side. IRONTON (trialled as well as SIDE SHOW) has put in two ominous trials and is worth a close look at in the yard.
