A bit of tempo in this race with MY MATE ELVIS, FARNICLE and MEDNYI (cross over on) all capable of rolling along. The trials of NIELSON PARK (missed start, ran on hard) and REGULATED AFFAIR (two nice trials) were promising enough to suggest they can show up here. GRAND PRARIE was good in his maiden and he may prefer a drier track, but it was a bunched finish with too much tempo on-pace. MY MATE ELVIS a place chance after going too keenly on that hot pace.
