Bred from a champion sire out of a dam that won 1400m to 1800m. Second dam SKY TRIST (NZ) won to 3200m (G3 Queen's Cup at Flemington).
Wet track forecast is OK. Dam enjoyed it and SOFT 5 race form has been fine.
The horse was a colt last year when he ran in the (Melbourne) Cup and it didn't really go to plan. He went forward and there was a lot of pressure, but he's a gelding now and I think he's a lot more genuine.
Likes to get near pace and sustain his gallop.
