Stable Reports To Steward Rosehill (Wednesday) Race 1, No 7 PRESIDENT – The Chris Waller stable have reported the colt has undergone tie-back surgery since its last race start. It has since trialled on two occasions (at Rosehill 3/2/25 and 18/2/25).
Bred to be a dry track sprinter from a dam that won over 1200m to 1400m.
Improved at second run when finding the rails in lead, surprising market at $11. She laid in on debut when making run wider.
Bred from dam that was very plain in five starts. Second dam won to 2000m.
Nice enough type, mid-strength with some maturity to come (photos/TV). Probably has scope for 1600m+ as per pedigree.
