Royal Randwick is the scene for Group racing, the Spring just around the corner. The rail is out 6 metres and a dry track is expected, a slight chance of horses ON-PACE and NEAR RAILS being favoured. The day opens with the Group 3 Up and Coming Stakes for the 3yos and a STEADY tempo is likely, unless INNER CIRCLE (Blinkers on) gets rolling early on. The very tough VOILIER (can race near pace) and powerful SEBRING SUN (has a rapid sprint) got the quinella in the lead-up race to this and will be hard to beat again. SHARDS brings the right form-lines, but a dry track 1300m might just be a touch too sharp.
