They'll have to be good to hold the mares LUCIA VALENTINA (relishes the wet) and FIRST SEAL (very classy). ARABIAN GOLD has a touch of 'X-factor' first-up for Waterhouse after good recent trials, a mare that can quicken in the wet. At bigger odds, HAURAKI shouldn't be discounted, while RUDY, FLAMINGO STAR and KIRRAMOSA all have an outside hope.
