The handicapper has done his job in this year's Theo Marks, it's a very evenly matched 1300m. Expect the tempo to be FAIR to STRONG, with a few that can go forward. MESSENE brings 'Weight for Age' form-lines to the race and he won't be far away from barrier 2. Good winning chances come from VASHKA (better suited up to 1300m at Rosehill) and AOMEN (quietly ridden first-up), who both did well behind DECISION TIME at Randwick last start. NOSTRADAMUS brings an interesting Queensland Winter form-line to the race, he probably wasn't suited at Doomben and could enjoy the step up to 1300m. WINX (stronger tempo suits) is a very classy mare and will be flashing late.
