A mixed field assembles here for the time honoured All Aged Stakes, a race for which the honour roll reads like a who's who of Australian turf greats. Carbine, Ajax and Tulloch all have had their name etched on the trophy, alongside more recent winners Rough Habit, Flying Spur, Sunline, Hay List and Atlantic Jewel. Whilst there doesn't appear to be any greats engaged here Rebel Dane is a wonderful sprinter who ran 2nd to the untouchable Lankan Rupee last start. Also coming through that race are the wet-tracker Tiger Tees, Flemington specialist Shamexpress and flying mare Snitzerland, who looks to have the most speed but may be tiring late. Weary and Steps In Time bring excellent Handicap form but need to prove themselves at WFA as does last start eye-catcher Politeness. The Japanese entrant Hana's Goal is capable of sharp improvement here if ridden more positively and Atlante adds interest back from the 2000m. A race which you can make a small case for many but a strong case for only one or two.
