The fillies and mares come together for a race that has become all the more interesting with every drop of rain. The Heavy track will ensure a good staying test and most of the field are unproven at the trip, so type and scope become as important as recent form. The athletic filly Saigon Tea has given every indication that 2000m would be within her reach at some stage, and Waller must be respected for lining her up in this event. She has hit the line in almost all her recent starts and shapes up very well down in the weights. The second favourite is the 'iron horse' Casino Dancer, who the analyst team at The Race Guide feel like is part of the family as she lines up for her 14th start this year. The 2000m is perhaps as far as she wants to go though and she must be a risk after so much recent racing. Other chances include My Highlight (very honest mare), Sail (talented, but has tricks) and even Crooked Stick, who perhaps has the most scope after only six starts. The favourite has the profile to win, but a bottomless track won't make it easy for any of them.
