An abundance of speed engaged for the "Million Dollar Mango" sprint, a BM 85 event. The Speed Map shows Kudero, Texan Lad, Beckon, Lady of Harrods, Green Beret and Inside Job all as potential go forward horses, with a couple of them having natural speed to set the race up. It is difficult to pick the horses that can keep on best after racing on that tempo, but based on type both Lady of Harrods and Inside Job appear to be tough enough to fight on. Of the backmarkers, Earnest Ernest is racing in good heart and should be running on, the risk being whether Nash can get him trying when the whips get cracking. He isn't always the most genuine. Other good hopes include Dee'N'Gee and Gamba, who both have some class to keep on from midfield or a touch worse. The value chance seems to be Casual Choice, who could improve now with the Joe Pride stable after a disappointing run last prep. Important to note he was scratched from a 1200m event last week due to the wet, so they might be too sharp for him. A lot of variables in a great betting race. Keep an eye on the Speed Map, the mounting yard and the market.
