A few more angles to this race than you'd first expect. THE PHAROAH leads out at anything from a STEADY to STRONG tempo depending on what the young jockey does. He went out way too hard last start at Randwick over 1200m when CORUSCATE was so brave to win after hitting the lead 300m out from home. CORUSCATE can camp up alongside home again and kick on for home, but THE PHAROAH isn't hopeless down in the weights back to a dry Rosehill track, which he loves. DYSLEXIC profiles well into this race too, back to dry 2nd-up after running in black-type races last prep. She has the power to sprint into this. And if THE PHAROAH's ratings weren't enough to get you scratching your head, PETROSSIAN down 11.5kg to a more suitable distance on the back-up is a very hard one to read. He's not at his best at Rosehill, but does have a few runs that would go close to his name, especially considering he's only on 52.5kg after the claim. [updated Saturday 9am]
