He looks like he'll get the lead from BURNING PASSION on his outside and FELL SWOOP in the box seat, two tough Randwick 1200m horses that will be very hard to shake. The fav' has to prove himself on a genuine wet (trials not bad on wet) and will have to progress again here to beat some smart types, effectively up 5kg in the ratings to this grade. FELL SWOOP was brave first-up and has Chautauqua form at this best, BURNING PASSION only just edged out by Pecans and FIRSTHAND reached a new career peak beating My Nordic Hero - all three are legitimate threats.
