The last race of the day brings together a big field for what will be an energy sapping contest. The sequence of cushy on-pace runs on slow tempos looks set to end for Moral Victory and he will find this much tougher than his recent on-pace performances. The Alfonso gets the blinkers on first time and has been racing in great heart of late so should be respected. And the other key Waller runner Black Revolver also has a chance after an impressive run last start against both the bias and the tempo. He just needs a dryish track to be right in the finish again, as does Impulsive Spirit after failing in the wet last start. It might be a race for value though and horses like Divertire (nice fresh run last time), Hunter Jack (has come back well), Corryvreckan (good last week) and Dowdstown Charlie (leading contender if wet) are all going around at well over double figure odds. Line up a few here to get something out of an epic 'get-out stakes'.
