A small, but select, group of fillies line up for the Group 2 Furious Stakes, headed by the best-performed two year old from last season - Earthquake. Reports from Godolphin are that she is in good shape ahead of a much awaited return. If she can reach the dizzy heights of last campaign, they simply won't catch her. The rest of the field is an evenly matched group of talented sprinters, with Peggy Jean the best performed after her Group 1 Sires Produce win last campaign. She showed some speed in a strong trial performance and is so genuine that she is sure to be sticking on. The other Godolphin runner, Memorial, paraded in great fashion first up before a brave second to Bring Me The Maid, while Alpha Miss will take benefit from the run and shouldn't be dismissed for a place. Both Winx and Sultry Feeling will be strong late, but will lack the pure speed needed to worry the winner. Lets hope she comes back with a bang.
