The Kenso track has had some rain this week and the rail is TRUE for the first time since 28th October. A hard track pattern to predict, probably either (i) starting out ON-PACE and NEAR RAILS, then evening out, or (ii) starting off pretty FAIR, then suiting OFF PACE and OFF RAILS later. Plenty of quality 2YOs to look at here in the trials; Foxwedge colt ARTHUR FRANCIS (on-pace, dominant 1st at Hawkesbury), Exceed and Excel colt DEPICTION (on-pace faded 5th, then on-pace urged 2nd at Hawkesbury), Fastnet Rock gelding JET PACK (led narrow 1st, on-pace close 2nd), Redoute's Choice filly BAY OF KIEL (near pace held ground 4th, then on-pace urged 3rd to MURA MURA), FOUR MOVES AHEAD (on-pace dominant 1st, on-pace dominant 1st against older horses), Lonhro filly LAURELIN (midfield ran on best 1st), Maurice filly MORIOKA (back ran on well 3rd).
