An interesting little 2400m race with some depth in the form. There isn't much early speed on paper though, horses like PERFECT ILLUSION, NOTABADIDEA and TREVELYAN expected to be near a STEADY tempo before SKYMAX revs things up from before the turn for a LONG SPRINT home. SKYMAX was so impressive in midweek grade last time and he looks like a really progressive long distance stayer, but he did mix his form a touch in the UK.
