Bred from a triple crown winning sire in the USA out of a dam that won to 1300m.
I think his brilliance probably got him home in a Victoria Derby and we might just see on Saturday that he's more a sharper miler,

Best form has come when allowed to find his rhythm early before quickening and sustaining a strong run at them late. He has the turn-of-foot to make up ground off STEADY tempos.
He’s a gentle giant but he’s got so much ability. I don’t think they’ve got to the bottom of him, I think he’ll be better next preparation.
Bred to be a sprinter or sprinter miler from a dam that won over 1200m to 1400m.

Wet track forecast is positive. Has produced big G1 runs on SOFT and HEAVY, but he handles GOOD too.
I love the way he has extended to the line in his early starts. He's a colt with a robust frame and stout pedigree that could be worth following up in distance.
Bred to get over distance from an unraced dam. Second dam BRIGHT HALO won over 1783m in France.

He has lacked some acceleration in early starts, but he is genuine and sticks on gamely in his races.

Was a bit raw in his early starts, but always showed the ability to stick on well in the finish. A possible improver as he matures and gets up in distance.
Bred to get over some distance from a dam that won over 1200m to 1600m.

Nice open stride. A staying type with plenty of talent that builds into his races.
Bred from a G1 2500m Vic Derby and G1 2000m Rosehill Guineas winning sire. Dam won over 1200m to 1600m in the UK.

Bred to get over distance from an unraced dam. Second dam LODORE MYSTIC (NZ) won over 1600m in NZ.

Performs well when he gets into a nice rhythm. Flowing near pace or midfield off an honest tempo suit.
Had a big first campaign which culminated in a very testing run in the G1 Spring Champion when he dropped out. Signs are he could be a stayer, but he has a mixed pedigree so his late season 3YO campaign will teach us a lot.
He is one of those big, long (bodied) staying horses. He’s got a long stride and puts his head down.
