After some late nominations, a small and interesting field lines up for this 1100m sprint event. The contest sees a couple of Autumn Carnival performers go up against some speedsters down the bottom of the weights. Both See The World and Avoid Lightning have the class to win, but seemingly have similar problems coming back in distance slightly and being run-on types. While they clearly are good enough, they both may need luck to perform, which isn't the case for gallopers such as Hurrara and even Mount Nebo who could both go forward here. The latter in particular loves Randwick and is agile enough to perform dropping back in distance. Other chances include Recoinage (freshened, but distance could be too short) and Arinosa (needs to improve after last campaign). A tricky affair, in which getting a good picture of the speed map could give you a head start.
