Some different from-lines to measure up here over 1150m. Early speed from COMMUTE, GREYT WEEKEND and BROKEN ARROWS with the blinkers on. The class runners are at the top, EVALINA coming off a fair run midfield in higher grade behind Fiesta, fighting on alongside Lashes (since won) and Spin (since ran well) before getting checked and losing a couple of lengths late. LIGULATE was beaten by Lashes easily when she next started, a big galloper that is in the mix, but has some risks staying to 1150m around the tight track. The trials of GENTLE PERSUASION have only been fair (a few Lees mares coming back a touch rusty). COMMUTE a big strong galloper with upside that could progress again to win this. [FORM GUIDE only]
