The Silver Shadow Stakes sees the much-awaited return of the impressive filly LIBERTINI. She was beaten on debut by Bivouac when slow to begin on a wet track before destroying a maiden field and Listed field with arrogance. The trials were very sharp and she's got plenty of power to sprint home hard off what could be a STEADY tempo. Perhaps LET IT POUR is the knock-out, a raw type with upside that only just missed out fresh behind Dawn Passage over 1100m. TENLEY (trials fair, dry helps) and FLIT (trials fair, bit one-paced) will be winding up into the race late. VILLAMI and PRETTY BRAZEN won trials into this and have some hope too from near the pace.
