Some depth in the last race of the day as always, but maybe not much tempo with BERGEN rolling forward on-pace (tempo: STEADY to FAIR). The obvious on form are SAUSEDGE (dominant at Canberra) and SURE KNEE (very good in higher grade), but there are lots of threats in the race. Chances to EL MO (should love 1500m), BERGEN and ROMANI GIRL. Roughies MERCURIAL LAD, STRYKE ROCK and OAKFIELD MISSILE aren't without hope too if the track pattern suits. [updated 12:11pm]
