The G1 Chipping Norton, won by Winx the last four years, is a much better contest this time around. Early speed from DREAMFORCE and HOMESMAN near the inside, with HAPPY CLAPPER and ANGEL OF TRUTH pushing forward out wider. TE AKAU SHARK is an exciting galloper that will get back, peel wider and charge late. If the tempo and the track pattern suits he will be very hard to hold out. HAPPY CLAPPER a big chance on ratings too, running 2nd to Winx in this race last year with another 4L back to Unforgotten in 3rd. He's a high grade miler that just needs to produce those ratings to be very hard to beat, the wide barrier suits and the first-up run was fine when hitting the line late.
