There are some progressive stayers lining up in this 2000m contest. Early speed from ILWENDO and MONSIEUR SISU with horses like MOUNT TABORA, NIGHT OF POWER and CHAINS OF HONOUR (if he jumps well) capable of pushing up too (tempo: FAIR). Matthew Smith brings two improving types here second-up off nice first-up performances, ILWENDO winning in midweek grade and ATTORNEY running on against the pattern here two weeks ago. Perhaps the most promising horse in the race is CHAINS OF HONOUR though, who has plenty of upside if he can get himself into a decent position in the run (one-paced, stays on).
