Imported galloper that has shown brilliant acceleration from the pack up to around 2000m/2400m. He hasn't proven himself at 2400m+ in first few attempts in Australia despite his early French form.

Bred from Derby winning sire out of a dam that won a G3 over 1400m.
Imported stayer that is pretty consistent in most conditions. Placed twice over 2847m in the UK, but seems to max out at 2400m in Australia.

Bred from a G1 2040m Cox Plate winning sire and unraced dam. Second dam GOLD ROCKS won over 1000m to 1200m.
A typical tough on-pace Waterhouse Bott galloper. He relished a wet track to win the G1 2400m Derby.
When questioned T. Clark stated that in his view Major Beel does not appreciate the firmer racing surfaces and is better suited on rain-affected going.

Imported galloper. Bred from a sprinting sire out of an un-raced Galileo mare that has produced stayers.
4th
Fights on over 1400m fresh, then 1600m to 1800m when fit. He can sustain a strong run over those distances, but has evened out over 2000m. Loves the wet.
5th
Good robust build. A strong finisher that keeps improving. Likes some tempo on and handles wet tracks well.
3rd
Big free-rolling type that likes to keep his rhythm from up near the pace and can be a touch keen if in a tight spot.
8th
Import that can race on-pace and has some talent, but she is mixing her form in Australia so far.
