As the Golden Slipper draws ever closer all the good 2YOs are back to the track for their lead-in runs and there is plenty of heat in this G2 (STRONG tempo expected). Magic Millions winner SUNLIGHT takes on the unbeaten Sydney trio of ESITJAAB, GONGS and NEUTRALITY, who all have trialled recently. NEUTRALITY sharp in trials (4th to Santos when not urged over 745m then 1st over 1045m in easy trial) Perhaps ESITJAAB impressed most though winning a 799m trial under a hold with GONGS (some urging) just a length off her in 2nd. On form ESITIJAAB probably gets the tick too out of the Sydney group, so how does she line up against SUNLIGHT? Well they are both fast early, very strong late and have plenty of upside! On form ratings and times maybe just a very slight edge to ESTIJAAB, there isn't much between them on paper. GONGS the most likely threat and NEUTRALITY the only other possible winner.
