Some real pressure in this 1000m sprint, you can almost guarantee a STRONG tempo. GOD OF THUNDER is gelded this prep and trialled very well in the lead-up (2nd to Ballistica, who won on Wednesday). He's a powerful type that will look for a trail off the speed and run home hard late. NOVEMBER MAN (two quiet trials) suited off the STRONG tempo too if you can make ground. Perhaps ROYAL WITNESS and NATALIA are two of the tougher types that can fight on from near the speed. It's quite an open race though, chances to KOONUNGA and REBEL MISS (will peak late) too.
