Royal Randwick with the rail out +3m after a wet week. Expect a SOFT to HEAVY track and the horses to edge OFF RAILS during the day. Starting with a quality field of sprinting mares, on-pacers SPIRITUAL PURSUIT, SEASONS and INVICTUS SALUTE will be joined by FASIKA near the speed. Jo Pride's tough mare FASIKA has trialled well and relishes these conditions, but so do a few of the others. RESIN, SEASONS and SPIRITUAL PURSUIT (seemed to enjoy 1200m) are all right in this down in the weights. I AM EXCITED and INVICTUS SALUTE not far off in the ratings too. BOOKER the risky runner for a new stable on wet first-up, she has won a G1 before though. [updated Saturday 9am]
