There should be some more tempo in this race than when VEGADAZE beat LJUNGBERG, a few rolling forward including those two and BUCEPHALUS from out wider (tempo: FAIR to STEADY). LJUNGBERG didn't have a lot go his way last start, especially the very slow tempo, which made the race a bit of a farce. More speed on and the inside barrier means he can be strong late again in the wet. BUCEPHALUS beat You're Next nicely on debut, a form-line that ties him in with the other favoured runners (same horse VEGADAZE beat on debut), and he's clearly got big upside to 1400m if he gets through the conditions (some risk). ADANA had a quiet trial and could be the one in the wet conditions, his wet track win last prep was very good. SURE KNEE will be running on late.
