James McDonald gets back on the keen-going THY KINGDOM COME after producing a massive win on the Kenso track two starts ago. He'll roll forward again here and could even let him 'off the leash' (tempo: FAIR to STRONG), a chance of bouncing back again now the rain has come. MAPMAKER will be near the pace too and probably wanted a firmer track. Lots of other challengers in the race though; KOOL VINNE, THE AVENGER (wet not ideal?) and POETIC CHARMER (poor barrier) all come through the same race, while HANDFAST (going OK), LOOKS LIKE ELVIS (solid), SUPER STAR BOB and LEVEE BANK (flying) are all around the mark and handle the conditions. Even KING VIV and EXCELSIOR fresh are capable. PAQUIRRI (back to BM grade) wanted it drier. We'll mention NICOCHET's decent 2nd in easier grade last start and then we've covered the field!
