SAMADOUBT the leader with GRESHAM for company, probably setting a STEADY tempo, perhaps with a LONG SPRINT home (SAMADOUBT a pretty tough type). SAMADOUBT got the win at his home track last start and stretches to 1900m here, a very fit horse that handles the wet if he can stay. GRESHAM seems less likely to lap up the extra distance after he was safely held last start over 1600m. TANGLED is the most interesting runner here, who was very flat in the same race last start and has bounced back third-up before (3rd in G1 last prep!), a big mounting yard watch.
