Lots of questions in this 1100m scamper. Early speed from JONKER, with SANDBAR, SANTOS and BALLER pushing forward. SANDBAR is the class horse well-weighted here after floundering a bit in the wet first-up. He's better than that and should be right in the finish on a firm track. Progressive types BALLER and TROPE perhaps the biggest threats, BALLER with a much better barrier and perhaps with upside over 1100m back to a GOOD track. HUMMA HUMMA and SANTOS (nice trials) with a touch of class also. JONKER was speedy, but perhaps could have been stronger late in a recent trial? PROPHET'S THUMB a place chance again.
