Some different angles in this 2YO race over 1300m, not too much tempo with ERNO going forward and a couple of others pushing near the pace (tempo: STEADY side). ERNO did the job nicely on debut , beating Trajection in good time, but that horse has since been safely held in another Maiden. Waller's gallopers deserve respect as always, ANTONIO PADRE coming off two solid trials after an unlucky debut, while ESCONDIDO and BACCHUS could improve back to a better track. NOBLE BELLE beat the older horses on debut, which is never easy, and rates in the mix too. SEA OF LIFE did enough in the trials (improved on better track for 3rd in most recent).
