Our feature race of the day, a Listed 2400m staying race that looks to only have a handful of chances. Early speed from OUR BIG MIKE and HUSH WRITER pushing forward too. HUSH WRITER was very impressive first-up over 2400m, sustaining a long run to the line. HIGH BRIDGE ran on well to almost get the win in that race, he gets 2kg off now, but may be out the back off a STEADY tempo. YOGI (class runner, trial fine, gets back too) and SAUNTER BOY (progressive to 2400m, check the yard second-up) are the other two key winning chances. [updated 8:39am]
