Finishing off the day over 1100m on what could be testing ground and there have been a tonne of scratchings on Saturday morning. Early speed from BLACK MAGNUM and maybe ISORICH (if he jumps OK). BLACK MAGNUM was in great form until last start and back to 1100m could see a turnaround in a very tricky race. Perhaps the hardest to beat are the horses gelded during a recent break; ROOSEVELT has big peak ratings and just needs to produce his best (mixed form), while GOD OF THUNDER brings the best recent form if he can get through the wet (neat muscular type). CONDEMNED better in a recent trial and has some hope with James Mac on. [updated 8:26am]
