Not your normal BM 78 1100m sprint, a few highly-promising gallopers returning to the track ahead of their Autumn campaigns. The speed should be hot (tempo: STRONG) with SIR ELTON joined by ALL CYLINDERS and SPIRITUAL PURSUIT on-pace. SIR ELTON won his first three starts before getting stuck on the inside when 3rd to Haut Brion Her giving that mare weight. Haut Brion Her has gone on to be a G2 winner since and the trials for SIR ELTON suggest he is right back on track. The biggest threat is the 3YO PANDEMIC, who comes off two nice trials (3rd and 1st), showing he's still got that sharp acceleration when needed. Waller's SAFADO and TRUE DETECTIVE have had one trial only and are big watches in the yard. A few others in form, but they would have to improve to beat the fresh horses. [updated 9:18am]
