SPIRITUAL PURSUIT likely to lead from SWEET DEAL, with LASHES, FIESTA and RESIN trying to find a spot just behind them (tempo: FAIR). FIESTA is a horse that performs very well first-up, handles the conditions and draws the ideal barrier here, it's hard to see her being out of the finish following a couple of nice trials. Lots of threats from horses like REELEM IN RUBY (trial nice, flying, big weight), NOIRE (nice trials, will be swooping), POHUTUKAWA (handles wet, touch of class, trials just average), RESIN (loves these conditions, trialled well) and DAWN DAWN (unlucky first-up).
