Plenty of scratchings makes this a tricky little race now. The marker is dominated by CORUSCATE (wet fine, but did fail at Randwick?) and SOUTHERN LAD, who are the two obvious chances on form. A leaning to SOUTHERN LAD given he seems to be better suited in the conditions.. INVICTUS PRINCE one of the more interesting gallopers on the day, back in distance after some OK recent trials (4th in latest). PASSAGE OF TIME a big horse that needs to be watched in the yard.
