DESERT LORD to come across with the tough Kiwi AVANTAGE from out wide (tempo: FAIR). CASCADIAN produced a big run first-up, has trialled well since and looks suited here to 1400m on wet ground, a European that did well over 1200m on a firm track fresh. AVANTAGE very hard to shake from on-pace though and STAR OF THE SEAS right in the mix in these conditions. KOLDING the big question after returning in great order and not having much luck first-up, he's a muscular type that is untested in the wet. [updated 8:20am]
